Product Availability, Purchasing
AMES takes steps to ensure the stock of our products; however we cannot warrant that we will always have sufficient quantities, packaging, or merchandise in stock. For example, in the Outlet Store section of the site, we cannot ensure or guarantee that the same products will be available on a regular basis, as this portion of the site is intended to move factory seconds and older packaging. All products found on this site are priced in US dollars only and do not include additional tax. In the event that tax charges apply, they will be build in to the advertised price listed on the site.

Since Emily’s Chocolates ships via Fed-ex or UPS, shipping to APO/FPO, and PO Boxes have to be processed manually. If you choose to have our products sent to an APO/FPO and PO Box, please contact our Customer Service Representative at 1-888-4MY-AMES. We cannot accept anything but physical delivery addresses over the Emily’s chocolate website.
Business Days are considered Monday thru Friday. Standard Orders are processed and prepared to ship within 2 business days of receipt. In most cases, 2-day orders are processed the following business day if product is available. If Saturday delivery or overnight shipping is required, please call our Customer Service Representative at 1-888-4MY-AMES.
Standard and 2-day shipping prices are to continental U.S. addresses only. Addresses out side of the continental U.S (i.e. Hawaii and Alaska) must be processed via 2-day shipping only. If the site user chooses Standard Shipping, it will be automatically changed to 2-Day and the user must pay the 2-day rate, as products going outside of the continental U.S can be subject to different shipping rates and transportation methods.. Unfortunately, international (including Canada) shipments cannot be processed through our website. If you need to ship internationally, please contact a Customer Service Representative at 1-888-4MY-AMES.
Some of our products are temperature sensitive. Our warm weather shipping months are May 1st through October 15th. During these months, AMES requires that all products must be sent by 2- day FedEX/UPS so they will reach their destination in satisfactory condition.
Before leaving the premises, AMES takes precautionary measures to ensure that our products are reasonably protected against temperature and damage. However, once the parcel is passed on to the delivery carrier, the responsibility of lost or damaged packages no longer falls upon AMES.
