Wholesale Order Details

First order Requirements: Prior to shipping your first wholesale order, we will require a copy of your state resale certificate. Please fax a copy to 253.926.4147 or e-mail a copy to wholesaleorders@emilyschocolates.com

Minimum Order Amount:  When you purchase wholesale from us, there is a minimum 1 full case requierment.

Terms: Orders are shipped prepaid by VISA, MC, DISCOVER, & AMEX. Terms are not available at this time.

Shipping:  AMES International, Inc. ships F.O.B. Fife, WA. Orders are sent via FedEx and can take up to 72 hours to process. To ensure we provide your particular store with the best service, please specify any special shipping requirements to your order notes when placing your order.

Notification of damages: Any missing or damaged product must be listed on the bill of lading when receiving a freight delivery; otherwise, credit and/or replacement will not be given. Notification of missing pieces must be made within 72 hours to our customer service representative.

Restocking Fee:  A 15% restocking fee will be applied to any orders (including pickup orders) refused or returned without prior authorization. You must receive a Return Authorization Number prior to shipping product back.  All applicable shipping costs will also be the responsibility of the retailer.

Product Images:  Contact us at questions@emilyschocolates.com if you wish to use our product images. Please provide us with the product name(s), desired file type and size. We process image requests within 5-7 business days.

What service does Emily's use ship my products? 

All of our orders are shipped exclusively via FedEx year round, and during the cooler part of the year we offer Ground, 2 Day, and Overnight Shipping options.   We are extremely sorry but at this time, we cannot ship to FPO or APO addresses.  However, during the summer months, we offer 2 Day and Overnight services to our customers nationwide ONLY. 

When will the Warm Weather Shipping Season start and what happens when it does? 

Our Warm Weather Shipping Season starts on May 1st  and will end October 6th. However, we will be watching the weather closely so these dates are subject to change at any time.  Once the Warm Weather Shipping Season starts, orders in areas where the temperature exceeds 75ยบ for prolonged periods of time will be shipped in special insulated mailers with gel ice packs to keep your products nice and cool.  The decision to use gel ice packs and insulated bags will be made at the discretion of our Small Package Shipping Department.   

What other Warm Weather rules apply?

  • Again, orders are exclusively sent via FEDEX and are eligible for either 2 Day or Overnight Shipping
  • If there is a possibility of your order sitting in a FEDEX location over the weekend, we will NOT ship it until the following Monday to ensure that your product is not subjected to uncontrolled variables.

When will my order ship out?

It might be a balmy 60 in Seattle, but it also might be a scorching 100 in Phoenix.  The bottom line is that temperatures vary throughout the U.S.  This is why, we do not to ship our products over the weekends.  Our priority is to make sure that you receive your chocolates in mint condition, so please see below to get an idea of when your products will ship:

  • Once received, we reserve up to 72 hours to process your order.  However, our general rule of thumb is that we try our very best to ship orders out the same day if at all possible.
  •   Orders with 2 Day shipping placed on Monday - Wednesday of each week before 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time in most cases will ship the same day provided the item is in stock. 
  • Any orders with 2 Day Shipping Placed after 12:00 PM on Wednesday Pacific Standard Time of each week will NOT ship out until the following Monday.  This is to minimize the risk of your products being stored in an area with unknown temperature variables for a prolonged period of time.
  • Any orders using Overnight Shipping placed after 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on Thursday of each week will NOT ship out until the following Monday.


A Note on Addresses & FEDEX Deliveries:

Please make sure to double check your shipping addresses, as we can only be responsible for the addresses that are submitted when placing an order.  We are also not responsible for incorrect, delayed, or undeliverable addresses.  Whatever address you submit, is where it will ship to.  So if it is wrong we are not responsible.  If you notice an error in the address you have submitted, please log into your account and make a change to your shipping address or contact us at 1.888.469.2637 immediately.  If it is past normal business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00PM Monday through Friday), please leave a message or try again during those hours and we will make sure to correct the address before sending it out. 

Year round, Emily's instructs FEDEX to leave packages if no one is available for a signature.  Once your package ships please use your tracking number to watch out for the shipment or inform the recipient that a gift of chocolaty goodness is coming their way.  This is especially important during the Warm Weather Shipping Season, so please take this into account and make appropriate arrangements.

Emily's is NOT responsible for any packages that are missing, stolen, damaged, or altered once they deliver to the specified address.

International Shipping:

While International Shipping is not available through our website, it doesn't mean we wont try!  If you live out side of the United States and would like to purchase our chocolates, we are happy to work with you and see if we can feasibly deliver items to you.  However, there will be areas of the world that we will not be able to deliver to.  If you are interested please call us at 1-888-469.2637 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, Monday - Friday.
