Shipping & Returns OLD

Thanks for purchasing our delectable chocolates and nuts!  We pay special attention to making sure that your order ships and arrives in good condition.  Now that your chocolate is on the way, we're guessing you might have a few questions.  


How do we ship your order?

All orders are packed with great care and ship direct from our factory located just outside of Tacoma, Washington via one of our preferred carriers.  Orders typically ship the same day but every so often we need a little extra time, which is why we reserve up to 48 hours to pack your order.

    Returns & Exchanges

    At Emily's we make every effort to pack your order correctly, the first time.  If for any reason there's a problem with your order, please contact us within 20 days of the purchase of your order and we will work with you to find a solution.

    What is your return policy?

    We can only accept returns and exchanges for incorrect, damaged orders, and product issues.  Contact us for returns and exchanges within 20 days of placing your order.  Depending on the issue, we will either replace your items or issue you a refund.  Please note that refunds may take between 2-7 days to process.  


    How can I contact you about my return or exchange?

    If you have an order that needs to be returned or exchanged per the criteria listed above, please contact us through our "Contact Us" page.   Hold on to all product and product packaging until your refund or return has been fully processed. Please initiate a return by contacting us and we will work with you to help process your return or exchange as needed.


    Lost & Stolen Orders

    While we take every precaution to make sure your order ships accurately and promptly, it is important that you provide us with accurate shipping information and are responsible for the package once it's incoming.  We cannot issue refunds for address errors, theft, or negligence.  It is your responsibility to contact the designated shipping carrier to request compensation for orders that are incorrectly shipped to businesses, homes, or to a 3rd party location or on behalf of another individual.  


    Warm Weather Shipping Issues

    During the Warm Weather Shipping Season, we adjust our shipping schedules, assess weather conditions in real-time, and pack each order to endure a period of exposure to elevated temperatures.  We do not accept returns or issue refunds on any orders left in the elements for an extended period of time.  It is the responsibility of the recipient and/or the purchase to ensure that orders are not left to sit out in the elements.
